Guzik grew up on unceded Wolastokuk and Mi’Kmaq territory (Rothesay, NB) and currently lives in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal, QC. Since graduating from Mount Allison University (BFA) in 2017, Guzik has been actively pursuing a professional practice. She is the recipient of an Artsnb Emerging Artist Creative Grant (2017) and has shown her work in both group and solo exhibitions at venues across Eastern Canada.

Most recent group shows include, “Channels” (Gallery on Queen, Fredericton, NB, 2019), and “Pre-Shrunk” (Argyle Fine Art, Halifax, NS, 2019). Guzik has also previously exhibited at Sunbury Shores (Saint Andrews, NB), Ingrid Mueller Fine Art (Frederiction, NB), Owens Art Gallery (Sackville, NB), Struts and Faucet (Sackville, NB) and Closet Gallery (Montreal, QC).

Guzik is currently employed as a commercial painter at the Montreal art manufacturer Canvas Candy, and separately maintains a personal studio practice. She supplies a small selection of prints and artwork to Shop Visitors (Saint John, NB), and completed her first ever residency this summer at Spark Box Studio (Picton, ON).
