Macho (Wo)man Escapes Flood, 2016

Combining assembled sculpture, photography, and performance, this project explores concepts of feminism, activism and environmentalism through humor and persona. In response to the rising water levels caused by climate change in Sackville, New Brunswick, my fictional character attempts to operate an ineffectually constructed raft made of recycled materials to cross the flooded street.
